Sparrow Quantum: Deeply Rooted in Decades of Groundbreaking Research

Sparrow Quantum is a spin-out from a powerhouse of innovation: Professor Peter Lodahl's research group at the Niels Bohr Institute. We are building on over 25 years of groundbreaking research, further enhanced by nearly a decade of engineering efforts.

We specialise in advancing light-matter interfaces—the critical components required to scale optical quantum technologies. At the heart of our innovation is our on-chip deterministic single-photon source, a technology that sets industry benchmarks and is trusted by quantum technology leaders worldwide. Empowering our partners and customers with cutting-edge solutions, Sparrow Quantum is turning the immense potential of quantum technology into real-world innovation and impact.
